Starting
Thursday 5 March, Andre and his crew are proud to present you with
their new "Bistro Chic" (smart
bistro) menus.
History
Teissonnière's
L'Escargot was established in 1976 "on the hill" in Devon
Street as the first genuinely ethnic restaurant in Taranaki.
Six
years later the business was relocated to its present site in Brougham
Street, still in the "French Cafe" style but half its
present size.
In
1992 the adjacent building was purchased and the restaurant extended
to its present form. The buildings, built in 1876 and 1870 have
been identified as being the oldest commercial buildings in town
and are of historical significance.
We
are proud to have been part of the business and restaurant scene
in New Plymouth for the past 26 years and to have been of service
to not only Taranaki but to people from all over New Zealand and
overseas.
We
can assure you at all times of our best service and hospitality.
